Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 April 2026
At Nexovor Technology, we believe great software starts with respect for the people using it. This Privacy Policy is our promise to you: we'll be straightforward about the information we look after for you, why we look after it, and the choices you have at every step. By creating an account or using the Small Inventory application (the "App"), you accept the practices described here.
1. The information we look after for you
1.1 What you tell us
When you sign up, we ask for your name, email address, and the role you play in your shop — the minimum we need to set up your account and recognise you next time you sign in. Your password is handled entirely by Google Firebase Authentication, so we never see or store it ourselves.
1.2 What you create in the App
The data you build inside Small Inventory — products, orders, customers, expenses, withdrawals, payment methods, your UPI receiving details — belongs to your shop. We hold it on your behalf so it's there for you across devices and sessions.
1.3 Your subscription details
If you choose a paid plan, we keep a record of which plan you're on, when it started, when it expires, and any plan you've queued next. Payments are handled by Razorpay, a trusted Indian payment gateway. Razorpay manages your card or UPI details — we never store card numbers, CVV, UPI PIN, OTPs, or any banking credentials. We only see whether the payment was successful and the amount.
1.4 Helping the App run smoothly on your device
Each time you sign in, we note a few practical details — your device type (Android, iOS, web), the device's identifier, your locale (so we can show the right language), and the time of sign-in. This lets us help you faster when you reach out for support and protect your account against unauthorised access.
1.5 The feedback you share
If you send feedback through the App, we keep your message and any rating you choose to give. This is how we improve and how we get back to you when your message needs a reply.
1.6 What we don't ask for
We don't request your precise location, your contacts, your photos, or microphone or camera input — the App simply doesn't need them. Please also avoid entering sensitive personal information like medical records or banking credentials. Small Inventory isn't built to handle that kind of data, and you're better protected by keeping it elsewhere.
2. Why we collect this information
Every piece of information we look after serves a clear purpose:
- Running the App and giving you the features you signed up for.
- Keeping your account secure, including blocking accounts that show signs of misuse.
- Processing your subscription and applying the right access on your account.
- Helping you when you contact us for support.
- Meeting our legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
3. How we keep your data safe
We take data security seriously. Your information is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, encrypted both in transit and at rest. Access is governed by strict security rules that we built so only you and your shop's admins can read your data.
The App also blocks screenshots and screen recording on Android, and adds a privacy blur on iOS when you switch between apps, so your shop's data stays out of sight. Razorpay payments are verified by our servers using cryptographic signatures, so no one can fabricate a successful payment.
While we work hard to protect your data, no online service can promise absolute security. If a security incident ever occurs, we're committed to acting quickly and keeping you informed.
4. Working with trusted partners
To deliver the App, we work with a small number of carefully chosen service providers:
- Google Firebase stores your data and powers the App's backend. Google's privacy practices apply to data they process on our behalf.
- Razorpay Software Private Limited processes payments. They receive only what they need to complete the transaction — your name, email, and the amount. See Razorpay's privacy policy for details.
We don't sell personal data. In rare cases we may share information when the law requires it (for example, to respond to a court order) or if our business changes hands — in which case the protections in this policy continue to apply to your information.
5. Where your data lives
Your data is hosted in Google Firebase data centres. Our backend functions run in the Mumbai (asia-south1) region, and depending on Firebase's configuration, data may also be processed in other regions. We rely on the safeguards Google provides for cross-border data transfers.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we'll remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we're legally required to keep certain records — for example, transaction records may be retained for up to seven years to meet Indian accounting and tax obligations.
Anonymised data that can no longer be linked back to you may be retained indefinitely so we can keep improving the App.
7. Your choices
You have meaningful control over your information. You can:
- See and update most of your account details inside the App.
- Ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that's inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete your account.
- Withdraw consent where we rely on it (this won't affect anything we've already done lawfully).
- Reach out to a regulator like the Data Protection Board of India if you feel we haven't lived up to our promises.
To make any of these requests, just email us at the address below. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
8. Children's privacy
The App is built for shop owners and staff aged 18 or older. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you're a parent or guardian and believe a minor has signed up, please let us know and we'll take care of it.
9. Information about your customers
If you add records about your shop's customers — names, phone numbers — that information is part of your shop's data, and you decide how it's collected and used. We process it strictly on your instructions to power the App's features. As the shop owner, you're the one with the relationship with your customers, so you're responsible for letting them know about the data you keep and for handling any requests they raise.
Please don't enter sensitive information about your customers (like medical or financial credentials) into the App — it isn't built for that.
10. Reaching us
If you have any questions about this policy, your data, or anything else privacy-related, please contact us:

We aim to acknowledge privacy queries within 72 hours and resolve them within 30 days, in line with applicable Indian privacy laws.
11. Changes to this policy
From time to time we may refresh this Privacy Policy — for example, if we add a new feature or the law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent version, and we'll let you know in the App when meaningful updates happen. Continuing to use Small Inventory after that means you're happy with the changes.
